OK, I’m not kidding…these taste like a serious candy bar, and AS IF you needed a bonus, they are super easy to make! AND perfectly healthy! All that in one is just too hard to resist, huh? Believe me, if you don’t make these, you’ll be missing out somethin’ fierce!! 🙂 Want a candy bar for breakfast? You got it!!
1/3 cup coconut oil (refined, if you don’t want a coconut taste)
1/3 cup honey or your favorite healthy sweetener
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
For the chocolate layer:
3/4 cup coconut oil, melted
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/3 cup honey or your favorite healthy sweeteners
pinch of salt
Instructions
Mix all the “oat layer” ingredients together and set aside.
Mix all the chocolate layer ingredients together.
Line a 8×8″ pan with parchment paper. Press half of the oat mixture in the bottom, then pour in all the chocolate, last, add the rest of the oat mixture and press down lightly. Refrigerate for about 30 minutes to an hour, or until firm.
And your ready to enjoy this amazing, and yet healthy treat!! That quick!
